Welcome To My Blog!
Hello and welcome!
This blog includes everything you need to know (in my opinion) about studying online, Kindy teaching in a small town and how to manage both at once. If I knew what I know now, when I first started my degree in 2018, I may have saved myself a lot of trouble! I only wish that the tips and tricks shared from my own experiences, can help someone else.
I will also share current knowledge and resources from my own kindergarten room, and those created by yours truely.

Resources
The resources shared within this blog have all been created by me, with consideration for the interests and needs of my own Kindergarten children over the years. Each of these resources are FREE for you to download!! I made the conscious decision to offer these for free, knowing that I had so much trouble finding quality resources for a reasonable price, during the early stages of my teaching career. As a young teacher and uni student, paying her fees upfront, I loved a freebie! I only hope these resources are loved and appreciated by other teachers and children.
I have also added ideas of a few DIY’s I have made over the years, which work in conjunction with many of my downloadable resources. |
Teaching in rural queenslandAs a passionate Early Childhood teacher, rural kindergarten plays a huge role in my love for teaching. As I’m sure many of you do, I have an alternate gaol in life - to own and operate my very own kindergarten, offering rural children the opportunity to learn without travelling great distances.
There is a great shortage of Early Childhood teachers in rural Queensland and for this reason, under the current regulations, I was able to begin my teaching career in 2020 prior to the completion of bachelor. Throughout this blog, I will explain my journey and how I got to where I am; but also how I managed work and uni. |
